Rules & Prohibited Items

Venue Rules

Each event may have exceptions to these policies, so be sure to check the concert event page before attending.

In accordance with industry standards, The Andrew J Brady Music Center has implemented the following building entry procedures for all events:

  • All jackets and bags will be searched upon entry. Clear bags no larger than 12" by 12" by 6", clutches no larger than 6" by 9", and medically necessary bags are allowed, but will be inspected at the entrance.
  • No large bags or backpacks are allowed.

All guests entering the venue are subject to a metal-detector screening by way of walk-thru magnetometer and/or wand, visual inspection, and bag inspection conducted by The Andrew J Brady Music Center personnel. We ask that you please...

  • Arrive early and be prepared for additional security measures.
  • Limit items brought into the building.
  • Be prepared to empty pockets before passing through the screening process.

Prohibited Items*

  • Professional cameras with long or detachable lenses, Go-Pro or action cameras, tablets and iPads.
  • Bags that are not clear and/or larger than 6" by 9"
  • Recording devices of any kind, audio or visual.
  • Glass, Metal, and Hard Plastic Containers
  • Backpacks or Large Bags
  • Weapons of any kind including pocket knives
  • Alcohol
  • Food of any kind**
    • **Four commercially sealed non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles (up to 33.8 fl oz) per person will be allowed into The ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park concerts. Canned water is prohibited.
  • Glow Sticks
  • Stickers
  • Aerosol Spray Cans
  • Laser Pointers
  • Chairs
  • Blankets, towels, or tarps
  • Pointed tip umbrellas
  • Spiked Jewelry or any type of chain
  • Sign or poster larger than 8.5 inches by 11 inches
  • Any other items deemed unacceptable by The Andrew J Brady Music Center management

Bag Policy

The Andrew J Brady Music Center enforces a clear bag policy to ensure the safety of our guests and to make entry as efficient as possible.

The following bags are permitted:

  • Clear bags no larger than 12” by 12” by 6”. Bags with patterns that obstruct visibility of contents are not allowed.
  • Small clutch bags no larger than 6” by 9” and do not need to be clear.

Possible exceptions include:

  • Medically necessary bags and diaper bags accompanied by the guest using them. All bags will be searched.

Event staff at The Andrew J Brady Music Center reserve the right to deny entry to any guest who does not comply with the bag policy.

Guest Conduct

Guests may asked to leave the property for reasons including, but not limited to the following:

  • Failure to follow The Andrew J Brady Music Center smoking policies

  • Standing on seats, standing in the aisles, and/or sitting on shoulders

  • Vending unofficial merchandise on the property

  • Reselling tickets on the property

  • Distributing fliers and/or stickers

  • Unruly conduct

  • Use of illegal substances or drugs

  • Disruptive behavior

  • Use of profane, obscene or abusive language of any type

  • Possession of illegal or unauthorized items inside the venue

  • Throwing of any objects onto the stage area, or in the seating areas

  • Verbally abusing, threatening or intimidating performers, other guests, or The Andrew J Brady Music Center employees

  • Participating in a fight

  • Entering or attempting to enter any “Authorized Personnel Only” areas, such as: the stage area, backstage, behind points of sale or restrooms of the opposite sex

  • Any action that, in the opinion of The Andrew J Brady Music Center Management, places other guests in danger or reduces their enjoyment of the event

Guests that are asked to leave the property may be subject to arrest. These guests will not receive a refund for their ticket(s). Club Colors Not Permitted

Smoking Policy

The Andrew J Brady Music Center is a smoke-free facility.
