Event Information

Multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Riley Green solidifies his reputation as a “road warrior” (Pollstar) as he announces his extensive 2025 headlining tour. Joined by special guests Ella Langley, Vincent Mason and Wyatt McCubbin, the ‘Damn Country Music Tour’ includes a performance at Cincinnati’s The Andrew J Brady Music Center® on Friday, May 30. The announcement was made even more memorable with a nod to the classic “Smokey and the Bandit” with a video featuring the country star and all his opening acts, watch the promo video HERE.

Of the tour, Riley shares, “I learned to play guitar to my granddaddy’s favorite country songs from back in the day and the new album is a throwback to the era when I first became a fan. For this tour I was able to find some of my favorite artists and songwriters to join us, and singing with Ella every night will be a lot of fun.”

Released today in support of the tour, Green is revving up his engine in a hilarious parody of the iconic 1977 film "Smokey and the Bandit." In a playful reenactment, he channels the legendary Bandit (Burt Reynolds) with Ella Langley as runaway bride Carrie (Sally Field) as they evade the cops in a sleek Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Green grabs the CB radio to call out to his opening acts, inviting them to join him on the road. The scene is perfectly set to the iconic tune “East Bound and Down,” performed by the late Jerry Reed, adding a nostalgic flair to this lighthearted tour announcement. Buckle up—this ride promises plenty of laughs and great music!

The upcoming tour celebrates Riley Green’s forthcoming third studio album, Don’t Mind If I Do, which will be out October 18. Delivering more of the signature sound that fans can’t get enough of and continuing down the path he set forth with Ain’t My Last Rodeo, Green leans even further into pulling inspiration from his small-town life in rural Alabama to deliver an honest, relatable and at times humorous 18-track project. Currently on an incredible hot streak, Green’s well-earned confidence in his work shines through with five of the tracks being solely written including standouts “Jesus Saves,” “Worst Way” and the title track—which finds Green reuniting with his “you look like you love me” duet partner Ella Langley, with whom he shares the hit track that has quickly seen more than 162 million global streams and is continually climbing toward the top of several viral charts, including top 15 on the Mediabase country chart. Dann Huff produced the project along with Executive Producers Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen.

ABOUT RILEY GREEN

Riley Green has been compelling Country music fans to raise a drink, shed a tear, and, above all, celebrate where they are from, since first releasing his self-titled EP in 2018 with Big Machine Label Group. His songs like the No. 1 PLATINUM hit “There Was This Girl,” the 3X-PLATINUM-certified heart-tugger “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” (which he performed live at the 55th ACM Awards), and his chart-topping collab with Thomas Rhett, “Half of Me,” have made Riley synonymous with what Country music does best: making listeners feel something with his no-gimmick, relatable writing and classic feel.

An avid sports fan, former athlete (Jacksonville State University quarterback) and outdoorsman, Riley is riding a wave of success after being named the Academy of Country Music’s 2020 New Male Artist of the Year, a former MusicRow Breakout Artist of the Year, a CMT “Listen Up Artist,” and one of CRS’s 2020 New Faces. In 2023 Green served as direct support for Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, playing to an average of 65,000 fans each night. Recently Green has wrapped his own headlining Ain’t My Last Rodeo tour, bringing out Tracy Lawrence and Ella Langley with him. Combs joined Riley on his third No. 1 single “Different ‘Round Here (Ft. Luke Combs),” the title track to Riley’s 2019 debut album that he re-recorded with Combs after seeing how fans connected to it.

His forthcoming third studio album, produced by Dann Huff, will arrive on his birthday, October 18 with more of the signature Riley Green fans have come to know and love from the good ol’ boy who still lives in his hometown of Jacksonville, AL. See tour dates and learn more at rileygreenmusic.com.
